TWO POEMS
The transformer sparks spook
the eunuch horse hauling a kid
consigned to Christian camp.
The renegade piece of Skylab
fires an omnidimensional arrow
on a gravel Babylonian byway.
The shepherd minds his flock
inside a cloverleaf interchange.
The wolves watch Windstars
smoking witless, the bluegrass.
I trade my entire tooth collection
for a vat of industrial Minoxidil.
Our empty conch shells crumble
inside a damp, blue-jean bivouac
on an avalanche-swept sofa bed.
We'll lapdance at the May cotillion
when the tombstones lapse the pool.
We’ll hate in life and love after life.
